About the role
JOOLA is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to own the vision and quality of its digital experiences on Shopify and apps, blending hands-on UX and visual design with leading a small design team. The designer will work closely with leadership, engineering, brand, and marketing and help build the design practice.
What you’ll do
Set and maintain the vision and quality of digital experiences
Design UX and visual work for Shopify site and apps
Lead and manage a small design team
Collaborate with leadership, developers, brand, and marketing
Drive ideas through product, engineering, and leadership
Coordinate with offshore or distributed partners
What you’ll need
8–12 years of digital product design, with 2–3 years managing designers
Portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and visual design
Mastery of Figma components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping
Deep experience with responsive web, native app, and design systems
Cross-functional influence and developer collaboration
E-commerce or DTC experience owning a conversion funnel
