About the role
Superhuman seeks a Senior Product Security Engineer to embed security into the development lifecycle, enabling fast and safe AI-native product development. The role involves threat modeling, secure code reviews, automation, and AI-based security tooling, with remote flexibility and a focus on protecting customer data.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with Product Engineering teams on threat models, design reviews, secure code reviews, and manual testing
Develop end-to-end security solutions to mitigate risks across the product suite
Drive improvements in product security tooling, automation, and bug bounty program
Experiment with and develop AI-based tools to accelerate security work
Act as the voice of customers communicating security risks and trade-offs across engineering teams
What you’ll need
5+ years of relevant experience securing applications at scale
Experience across secure SDLC touchpoints: threat modeling, design reviews, secure code reviews, and web app pentesting
Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA
Experience using AI to solve security challenges at scale
Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
Experience managing vulnerability disclosure programs or bug bounty platforms such as HackerOne or Bugcrowd
