About the role
Design user experience and interface for the USDA APHIS CTIS-M Regulated Garbage Module, creating workflow-aligned designs and ensuring accessibility for an enterprise government web application delivered through Agile.
What you’ll do
Lead UX/UI design for the USDA APHIS CTIS-M Regulated Garbage Module
Create workflow-aligned designs and journey maps
Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint preparation
Ensure usability and Section 508 accessibility
Present UI workflows and lead demonstrations for customers and stakeholders
Contribute to design systems and UI standards governance
What you’ll need
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and meet Federal suitability requirements
Professional experience designing enterprise-grade web applications; bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent
Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern UX/UI design methodologies
Experience with Miro for journey mapping, conceptual design, and workflow documentation
Familiarity with component-driven design systems such as Material UI; knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards
Experience with government digital services, regulated workflows, user research, UX writing, and Scrum/Agile delivery
