About the role
OuterBox is hiring a Director of Innovation to define and drive its AI strategy, lead the AI engineering team, and build internal AI workflows plus client-facing AI services. The role owns AI adoption, partnerships, and ROI measurement, and turns internal AI playbooks into sellable offerings.

Build AI adoption, training, or certification programs
What you’ll need
5+ years in AI, machine learning, or applied AI/automation and 3+ years leading technical teams
History of spotting market gaps and turning them into paid services, products, or platforms, including running internal AI projects and client-facing AI services or consulting
Hands-on work with frontier AI models, including 1+ years with Anthropic Claude, and expertise in agents, tool use, MCP, retrieval, prompt/context design, and evaluation
Working skill in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred), Git, and CI/CD
Experience proposing AI initiatives, measuring results against cost with defensible ROI, and comfort with outcome-based and unit pricing
Working knowledge of digital marketing agency services, strong presentation skills with executives and clients, and a bachelor's degree in CS, data science, AI, or equivalent experience
