About the role

What you’ll do
Lead the engineering team and own platform technical direction and delivery
Contribute production code across APIs and product surfaces

Lead data integration with external partners through batch file feeds and APIs
Drive adoption of AI coding tools across the team
Hold all leads to a consistent bar and make decisions with available information
What you’ll need
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years managing teams
Experience managing other managers or team leads, including outsourced, vendor, or nearshore teams
Hands-on full-stack skills with Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript/React
Shipped partner-facing APIs or embedded products to production
Experience with REST/OpenAPI and GraphQL API design, including contracts, versioning, OAuth 2.0, tenant isolation, and rate limiting
Experience with PHI under HIPAA and FHIR models, APIs, and implementation guides such as US Core or Bulk FHIR
