About the role
Siemens Industry, Inc. seeks a Senior Power System Simulation & Automation Engineer to establish real-time digital simulation capabilities for power system solutions. What you’ll do
Lead RTDS and hardware-in-the-loop testing
Perform system validation and engineering studies
Develop customer demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments
Deliver technical solution development for utility, industrial, microgrid, renewable, and data center applications
Support factory testing, site testing, and commissioning
Apply protection relays and automation systems in power system environments
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or closely related discipline
Five years of directly related experience
Strong understanding of electrical power systems and system studies
Experience with power system protection and automation applications
Experience with RTDS platforms and HIL testing methodologies
Experience with SIPROTEC and SICAM products
