About the role
ComPsych is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead system design and technical direction for customer-facing web and mobile products and AI-powered initiatives. The role involves owning production services end to end, guiding AI-assisted development, and ensuring reliability and security at scale.
What you’ll do
Lead system design and technical direction
Guide AI-assisted implementation and testing
Own reliability and operation of production systems
Design APIs and data models
Build and operate async/event-driven systems
Participate in on-call and incident response
What you’ll need
5+ years of full-stack development experience
Deep server-side experience in a modern language such as Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, or Go
Experience building and operating production systems on AWS or Azure
Experience with async/event-driven systems, REST APIs, OAuth2/OIDC, and SQL
Experience with agentic AI as a development surface and LLM application engineering
Experience with reliability, security, SLOs, and PHI/HIPAA compliance
