About the role
BitterPower (BitterLiebe) seeks an experienced full-stack developer to take technical ownership of its Shopify Plus ecosystem, driving shop development, stable operations, tracking, and A/B testing. The role collaborates closely with marketing, UX, and e-commerce and works in an AI-first environment using coding agents.
What you’ll do
Further develop and maintain the Shopify Plus shop
Ensure stable operation of the Shopify Plus landscape
Implement tracking (GA4, Consent Mode v2) and A/B tests
Collaborate with marketing, UX, and e-commerce teams
Drive topics independently and constructively challenge requirements
Explain technical risks to non-technical decision-makers
What you’ll need
5+ years in web/e-commerce development, including 3+ years with Shopify (Plus)
Proficient in Liquid, Shopify Functions, and custom Shopify apps
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS skills with a solid backend foundation in Node.js, GraphQL, and Webhooks
Hands-on experience implementing GA4 and Consent Mode v2
AI-first daily work with coding agents and ability to judge their output
Fluent German; experience with ERP/marketplace integrations or D2C/health preferred
