About the role
Builders FirstSource is looking for a remote IT Intern for Summer 2027 to support Project Elevate, an enterprise transformation initiative. The intern will assist with functional testing, business process validation, data analysis, documentation, and project coordination while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
Support Project Elevate across multiple business functions
Assist with functional testing
Validate business processes
Perform data analysis
Create and maintain documentation
Coordinate project activities
What you’ll need
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, IT, or related field
Interest in business systems, technology implementations, process improvement, or enterprise transformation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and independently
