About the role
OMRF seeks a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst to join the Ocañas Lab analyzing complex biological datasets, developing machine learning models, and building reproducible computational workflows for research on aging, sex, immune regulation, and disease.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, computational biology, computer science, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in R and Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization
Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating machine learning or predictive models
Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and interpretation of complex datasets
Experience with high-dimensional data analysis, preferably genomic or other biological datasets
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and computational workflows
