About the role
Sparrow is hiring its first Strategic Finance Analyst to build the finance function, owning the models and analyses that guide business decisions and partnering with the CFO and cross-functional teams on strategy, planning, and reporting.
What you’ll do
Build and own financial models and analyses
Partner with CFO and cross-functional teams
Support strategy, planning, and reporting
Develop AI-powered workflows and automated analyses
Identify and solve problems proactively
Help establish the first Strategic Finance function
What you’ll need
3-5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or in-house FP&A / strategic finance
Expert-level modeling ability translating complex drivers into clear frameworks
Experience building AI models, workflows, or automated analyses
Sees AI as core to modern finance operations
Proactive problem identification and comfort with ambiguity
Comfortable being the only finance function builder, with experience in consumption-based business models a plus
