About the role

What you’ll do

• Shape the architecture, scalability, and reliability of schema and metadata governance systems
• Lead technical strategy and engineering for governance infrastructure, data policies, and platform integration
• Navigate ambiguity and reduce systemic complexity in large-scale distributed systems
• Influence executives and stakeholders while fostering collaboration across multiple teams
• Translate high-level vision into detailed technical implementation and delivery
• Anticipate industry trends to design systems for the next 3–5 years

What you’ll need

• Proven track record leading architecture and delivery of large-scale distributed systems with company-level impact
• Comprehensive knowledge of fault tolerance, consistency, scalability, and cloud-native platforms
• Working depth with streaming or event-driven architectures and adjacent domains such as schema management, data catalogs, or metadata/governance systems
• Strong ability to influence executives and stakeholders and foster collaborative environments
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP), resource management, and multi-tenancy
• Recognized industry thought leader through open-source contributions or driving initiatives from the ground up
