About the role
EchoStar is looking for a Staff IT Product Owner to own the vision, roadmap, and backlog of an Agentic AI development platform, partnering with customer experience and engineering teams to prioritize capabilities, safety, and human-agent workflows.
What you’ll do
Define and drive the vision and roadmap for an Agentic AI development platform
Own the platform backlog and delivery
Partner with customer experience and engineering teams
Prioritize capabilities, safety measures, and human-agent workflows
Manage technical debt versus feature delivery in Jira
Write clear user stories for backend and AI engineers
What you’ll need
10+ years in product management or product ownership, with 5+ years at Senior or Staff level
Proven experience shipping Generative AI, LLM, or Machine Learning products
Strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts such as RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, LangChain, or AutoGen
Expert-level Jira proficiency with structured program management and user story writing
Deep understanding of CX ecosystems, contact center technologies, CRM platforms, and customer support workflows
Experience with AWS AI stack, cloud-native AI services, IDP/SDK/API products, and Agile certifications
