About the role
Sentara Health is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer - AI to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure and AWS. The role supports enterprise AI, machine learning, analytics, and automation workloads with a focus on Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and AI platform enablement.
What you’ll do
Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms
Support enterprise applications and AI, machine learning, analytics, and automation workloads
Manage infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and AI platform enablement
Ensure cloud networking, identity, security, observability, resiliency, and operational support
What you’ll need
5+ years of experience in cloud, platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and working knowledge of AWS
Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, Kubernetes, AKS, containers, GitHub, and CI/CD automation
Experience supporting Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, or comparable AI platforms
Experience deploying or supporting Databricks for data engineering, analytics, or machine learning workloads
Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree; relevant Azure certifications preferred
