About the role

What you’ll do

• Drive digital microarchitecture and RTL design for GFX/display IP and hardware accelerators
• Perform performance and power analysis for custom silicon and advanced IP
• Collaborate cross-functionally with verification and physical design teams
• Micro-architect and design IP with fixed-point and floating-point data paths
• Optimize microarchitecture and design for power, performance, and area
• Integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and support responsible AI practices

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years as a Hardware Design Engineer for production silicon shipped in volume
• Experience in digital design microarchitecture, RTL coding, and micro-architecture development, including IP with heavy fixed-point/floating-point data path logic
• Experience with synthesis, static timing analysis, timing closure, CDC/RDC analysis, and power/performance/area optimization
• Experience communicating technical design decisions and collaborating with verification, physical design, and architecture teams
• Experience with pixel processing pipelines (2D/3D GFX engines, display processing units), procedural programming (C/C++/Python), shell scripting, and demonstrated AI tool integration with responsible/ethical practices
