About the role
Sniffies is seeking a Senior User Researcher to build and lead its research function, partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, Trust & Safety, and other teams to shape trusted, inclusive product experiences. The role focuses on mixed-methods research for sensitive, identity-driven consumer mobile products serving the GBTQ+ community.
What you’ll do
Build Sniffies' research function and lead studies that inform product strategy
Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Customer Experience
Conduct qualitative and mixed-methods research to understand users
Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
Manage multiple concurrent research initiatives
Champion user-first, inclusive, and community-centered product experiences
What you’ll need
5+ years in UX Research, User Research, Human Factors, Behavioral Research, or related fields
Proven experience leading end-to-end research in fast-paced consumer-facing product organizations
Strong expertise in qualitative and mixed-methods research methodologies
Experience with sensitive, trust-based, identity-driven, or privacy-focused digital products
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Trust & Safety, and Executives
Experience establishing research foundations including participant recruitment, insight repositories, workflows, and stakeholder adoption
