About the role
Photon seeks a Head of Finance to build and own the finance function for its prescription platform, covering planning, accounting, reporting, and fundraising readiness while advising leadership on key business decisions.
What you’ll do

Manage accounting operations including monthly close, audit/tax preparation, and outside accounting partners
Drive unit economics and pricing decisions
Prepare for fundraising and support equity rounds
Advise leadership on business decisions
What you’ll need
7+ years of experience with early-career training in investment banking, management consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment
2+ years in a finance, strategic finance, or BizOps role at a venture-backed startup through significant growth
Direct experience with at least two of fundraising, pricing or unit economics, board reporting, cash and capital planning
Hands-on ownership of accounting operations including monthly close, audit or tax preparation, and outside accounting partners
Build and maintain complex financial models and explain them simply to a non-finance audience
Clear, confident communicator who can hold a point of view under pressure
