About the role
FANUC America seeks an Engineer to support physical AI, external motion control, virtual commissioning, and digital twin technologies for industrial robots. The role provides technical and sales support, develops and validates applications, and requires strong programming and robotics skills.
What you’ll do
Support robot products in physical AI, external motion control, virtual commissioning, and digital twin technologies
Provide technical and sales support to sales and application engineering teams
Develop and validate applications
Troubleshoot customer and product issues
Advance robotics software and solutions
Proactively address evolving and unforeseen team needs
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, ME, or related technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years in engineering and integration of industrial robotics automation
Proven ability to read electrical and control prints
Minimum 3 years in motion planning or related field
Experience with simulation and emulation software (Roboguide, RoboDK, MoveIT, Process Simulate)
Strong coding skills in Python, C++, CMake in a distributed development environment
