About the role
The Manager, Payroll and Operations will oversee end-to-end payroll operations across the US and Canada, with oversight of EU and India, ensuring accuracy, compliance, controls, and governance. The role leads process improvements, payroll systems initiatives, vendor relationships, and cross-functional partnerships while managing and developing staff.

Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional partnerships with HR, Finance, Legal, and Total Rewards
Manage and develop payroll team members directly or in a dotted line capacity
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR, or related field
8+ years of payroll/HR operations experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences, with leadership responsibility
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP WorkforceNow, Deel) and HRIS (e.g., Oracle Fusion HCM)
Deep understanding of multi-state tax compliance, SOX, and 401(k) audits
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage and develop others and work in a regulated, fast-paced environment
