About the role
The Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a .NET application developer and production support engineer to support, maintain, and modernize mission-critical applications within the Information Technology Division. This onsite role combines application development with production incident resolution, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
What you’ll do
Support, maintain, enhance, and modernize mission-critical applications
Investigate and resolve production incidents
Develop application features and technical solutions
Provide technical guidance to team members
Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements
Document technical information and operational procedures
What you’ll need
Eight years of IT or software development experience with one year at an advanced working level
Strong experience developing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft-based web applications
Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET technology stack
Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and performing root-cause analysis
Knowledge of relational databases, REST APIs, WCF, IIS, and front-end technologies
Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git/TFVC, secure development practices, and technical documentation
