About the role
Migrate acquired companies' services to Workday's cloud-agnostic CP2 platform by assessing dependencies, planning and implementing migrations, and developing automation while coordinating with acquisition and internal teams.
What you’ll do
Assess service dependencies and plan migrations
Implement migration of acquired services to CP2 platform
Develop automation and migration tooling
Coordinate with acquisition engineering teams and platform owners
Write migration plans, RFCs, and runbooks
Redesign CI/CD pipelines for cloud migration
What you’ll need
7+ years software/infrastructure engineering experience
3+ years operating production workloads on AWS/GCP
Proficiency with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Augment)
Strong Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE)
Production proficiency in Terraform
Strong coding in Go and/or Python
