Intellibus is seeking a Lead Business Engineer to drive a retail and AI transformation initiative, bridging business strategy and engineering execution to deliver scalable solutions and measurable business outcomes.
What you’ll do
Translate operational challenges into scalable, commercially viable engineering solutions
Connect business strategy with engineering execution across retail, technology, data, and AI
Lead cross-functional teams from problem discovery through production implementation
Engage with CIOs, CTOs, business executives, and enterprise architects
Review architecture and challenge designs while remaining accountable for delivery
Drive legacy modernization and simplify complex technology environments
What you’ll need
12–20+ years in software engineering, enterprise architecture, technology leadership, or related roles
Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, cloud, and AI
Experience in retail, grocery, merchandising, store systems, supply chain, or digital commerce
Proven track record designing, building, or leading mission-critical enterprise platforms
Experience modernizing legacy systems and simplifying complex technology environments
Strong analytical reasoning, communication, and ownership skills with executive presence
