About the role
PMAT is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer III to design, build, and sustain secure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based application environments for mission-critical systems, collaborating with engineering and cybersecurity teams.
What you’ll do
Design, build, integrate, and sustain secure cloud infrastructure
Support reliable, scalable cloud platforms across compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, and security
Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams
Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes and container technologies
Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting, and observability capabilities
Automate infrastructure provisioning, administration, and maintenance
What you’ll need
Strong experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or systems engineering
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, and related infrastructure
Experience administering Linux systems and troubleshooting infrastructure performance issues
Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications with Kubernetes or similar orchestration
Understanding of cloud security, IAM, least-privilege access, and system hardening
Current Security+ certification, U.S. citizenship, and TS/SCI eligibility
