About the role
HP is hiring a Competitive Intelligence Lead to analyze AI software, hardware, and edge-AI trends across the PC ecosystem, turn insights into executive-level recommendations, and manage an analyst team.
What you’ll do
Lead analysis of PC competitors, AI software and hardware, and edge-AI trends
Translate findings into strategic recommendations for senior executives
Manage, direct, and develop a team of analysts
Pull competitive and financial narratives from earnings calls and 10-Qs
Connect disparate signals into business risk and strategic opportunity
Raise the team's analytical bar and set direction
What you’ll need
8+ years in competitive intelligence, corporate or competitive strategy, equity research, management consulting, or product/market strategy
Strong knowledge of the AI landscape, including software/hardware models, on-device/edge AI, NPUs, and the AI PC ecosystem
Financial and analytical fluency with unit economics, margins, and mix
Exceptional verbal communication and executive presence
Demonstrated people leadership managing and developing analysts
Experience in PC, semiconductor, or consumer-electronics industries
