About the role
Bluesight is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for its Shared Services team to design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end applications supporting healthcare data products. This remote role focuses on healthcare interoperability, infrastructure as code, and full-stack development across the continental United States.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end applications for Shared Services
Support Bluesight's healthcare data products
Build web services using Ruby on Rails
Integrate Electronic Health Record (EHR) data into enterprise software
Write comprehensive tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Collaborate within cross-functional teams
What you’ll need
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including code reviews, source control, build processes, and testing
Experience developing Terraform Infrastructure as Code to deploy work
Demonstrated expertise in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
Proven experience translating business requirements into scalable, user-centric software solutions
