About the role
LodgeLink is hiring a GM of Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams and managers in delivering scalable, secure SaaS products. The role sets technical direction, evolves platform architecture and engineering practices, and develops leaders to improve delivery predictability, reliability, and outcomes.
What you’ll do
Set technical direction for engineering teams
Evolve platform architecture and engineering practices
Develop, mentor, and lead engineering managers and teams
Partner across the business to improve delivery predictability and reliability
Scale event-driven, API-first, cloud-native SaaS and microservices platforms
Drive outcome-based delivery with clear metrics and executive communication
What you’ll need
15+ years of professional software engineering experience
6+ years in leadership roles managing managers and/or multiple teams
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and design
Experience scaling complex SaaS and microservices platforms on a major cloud provider
Deep expertise in Agile, SDLC, DevOps, and reliability engineering
Proven record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
