About the role
WealthCounsel seeks a Staff Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership, set architecture and technical strategy, and mentor engineers while writing production code for its estate-planning software portfolio.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of professional software engineering experience
Track record of leading cross-system architecture
Deep expertise designing and building cloud applications on AWS, including serverless and event-driven architectures; expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js
Demonstrated technical influence beyond own team and experience mentoring/coaching developers
Experience with agentic coding tools, AWS CDK/Terraform, microservices migrations, Amazon Bedrock, Vue.js/Storybook, Auth0/IDPs, and relevant AWS certifications
