About the role
Caliola Engineering is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to oversee systems engineering for mission-critical defense communications programs, including requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and coordination with technical teams and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and deliver communications solutions for mission-critical defense programs
Lead systems engineering across the program lifecycle
Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders
Manage requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and validation activities
Conduct system-level trade studies, performance analyses, and technical risk assessments
Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria
What you’ll need
Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
Minimum 8 years of directly relevant systems engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related discipline
Experience with communications systems including RF, wireless, satellite, or related technologies
Experience with system integration, requirements verification, validation, and test activities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
