About the role
MetLife is hiring an Integration Manager to lead third-party API integration initiatives for its Group Benefits business, partnering with IT and external vendors to take connectivity projects from discovery to production. This remote role involves translating partner needs into requirements, managing project governance, and supporting the expansion of benefits offerings.
What you’ll do
Lead third-party API integration initiatives from discovery through go-live
Define and document business requirements, implementation approaches, and project plans
Oversee execution across API development, operational readiness, and partner onboarding workstreams
Manage project governance, prioritize development with IT, and escalate issues
Develop strong relationships with external partners as primary contact for connectivity initiatives
Coordinate internal teams, technology partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and transition
What you’ll need
3-5 years of related experience in group insurance, benefits administration, or HCM ecosystem
Proven ability to translate business and partner needs into actionable integration requirements
Strong project and stakeholder management skills with cross-functional initiative leadership
Strong written and verbal communication, including engaging external partners
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree minimum and ability to integrate approved AI tools into workflows
