QXO seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of pricing, costing, product relationship, and CPQ systems, turning pricing strategy and AI models into reliable production software for sales, eCommerce, and point-of-sale channels.
What you’ll do
Lead design and development of pricing, costing, product relationship, and CPQ systems
Turn pricing strategy and AI models into reliable production software
Build scalable, distributed systems using object-oriented programming languages
Operate production systems in a cloud-native environment
Integrate with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or order management platforms
Lead architectural designs and mentor other engineers
What you’ll need
8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
3+ years building scalable distributed systems with Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or similar
Experience with React, Next.js, or TypeScript
Strong SQL and data modeling skills with batch and streaming pipelines
Experience with pricing, CPQ, revenue management, or quote-to-cash systems
Experience deploying statistical or ML models to production
