About the role
Captivation is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain system management infrastructure for HPC systems in a Linux environment. The role requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph and experience in Python, Rust, scripting, and CI/CD.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for HPC systems
Automate tasks and processes using Bash/Python scripting
Implement authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems
Participate in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe development methodologies
Use CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI for deployment
What you’ll need
Must hold Top Secret/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years experience (or Master's plus 3, or 7 years without degree)
Experience using Linux CLI and Linux tools
Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting
Recent software development experience in Python
Recent software development experience in Rust
