About the role
Software engineer and image analyst supporting NASA's Engineering Photographic Analysis Team at Marshall Space Flight Center, focused on developing and maintaining software applications and databases while performing engineering imagery processing and analysis for the Space Launch System program.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain software applications, databases, and computer systems
Support engineering imagery processing and analysis for the Space Launch System program
Maintain and modernize legacy software applications and databases
Integrate imagery data with engineering telemetry and other technical data sources
Support small multidisciplinary engineering teams
Balance ongoing software maintenance with new development and imagery analysis activities
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with C# and .NET, including object-oriented programming
Experience with SQL and relational database management
Familiarity with digital imagery, video processing, or scientific data processing
Must be a US citizen
