About the role
Northwest Pipe Company, a manufacturer of welded steel and precast water infrastructure products, seeks a Project Designer in Tracy, CA to support project managers from project inception through production by creating and updating product designs and supporting estimating.
What you’ll do

Ability to read and understand civil and mechanical drawings
Basic understanding of civil engineering and surveying terms and methods
Strong mathematics skills through trigonometry and good computer skills including spreadsheets and CAD
College degree in engineering, mathematics, or other technical subject or equivalent work experience with 1-5 years experience
PE license or experience in engineering, pipe, steel, construction, or heavy highway industries preferred
