About the role
FDB is hiring an Application Developer to support the Prizm Medical Device Database and Medical Device Data Management System, focusing on databases, user interfaces, workflows, integrations, and AI-enabled tools. What you’ll do
Develop and maintain databases, user interfaces, and data workflows
Build and integrate APIs and ETL/data pipelines
Evaluate and integrate AI-enabled tools into data management workflows
Own technical work from requirements through delivery
Ensure data quality, integrity, and system reliability
Collaborate with database administrators, build team, and cross-functional stakeholders
What you’ll need
3-5 years of software development experience with Python, Java, CSS, and HTML
Proficiency developing, reviewing, testing, and debugging Python, Java, CSS, and HTML applications
Working knowledge of relational database design, data modeling, and data integrity principles
Experience with ETL/data integration, API troubleshooting, data mapping, and structured or semi-structured data ingestion
Associate degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills
