About the role
Raya is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Member Experience server team, combining people leadership with hands-on engineering to set technical direction and deliver scalable services and high-impact features across the member lifecycle.
What you’ll do
Lead the Member Experience server team supporting the member lifecycle from application through renewal
Set technical direction and deliver scalable services and high-impact features

Lead projects from concept through launch, balancing speed and quality
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver business impact
Source, screen, hire, mentor, and develop engineers
What you’ll need
2+ years managing remote, high-performance software teams
Deep knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript or comparable server runtime
Experience with cloud architectures, services, deployment models, and distributed systems
Production experience with Apple StoreKit 2 subscriptions and App Store Server Notifications v2 for a B2C product
Experience with PostgreSQL and operational excellence programs including production readiness, observability, and on call
AI-forward mindset with curiosity about applying emerging technologies
