About the role
TRAC Intermodal is hiring a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure. The role involves hands-on engineering across cloud services, Windows and identity infrastructure, virtualization, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring, and support for business applications.
What you’ll do
Design, operate, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure
Provide hands-on engineering across cloud services, Windows and identity infrastructure, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring
Support infrastructure for business applications
Support disaster recovery and business-continuity exercises
Support enterprise audit, ITGC, and cybersecurity requirements
Apply infrastructure-as-code and automation practices
What you’ll need
10+ years of progressive infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering experience
7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering or administration experience
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft infrastructure
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and hybrid identity
Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions, ideally Rubrik
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or comparable tooling
