About the role
System Crew is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead a distributed engineering organization covering projects, client environments, and service desk support, with responsibility for technical standards, automation, AI adoption, and team development.
What you’ll do
Lead the distributed engineering function
Deliver projects and manage client environments
Support service desk operations
Set engineering standards and ensure service quality
Drive automation and AI adoption
Manage vendor partnerships and technical support for sales and clients
What you’ll need
10+ years in IT infrastructure and systems engineering
Experience leading engineering teams across countries and time zones
Deep Microsoft platform expertise with current Associate-level certifications or above
Azure Solutions Architect Expert expected within the first year if not already held
Broad infrastructure knowledge across virtualisation, backup, VDI, identity, and endpoint security
Full professional English fluency and existing right to work in an approved location
