About the role
Support Spotify's SeshGen team as a contractor, operating and maintaining backend services for generative listening experiences, with a focus on reliability, incident response, and infrastructure improvements.
What you’ll do
Operate and maintain backend services for generative listening experiences
Respond to and triage incidents using runbooks, dashboards, and logs
Perform infrastructure upgrades and reliability improvements
Write and maintain service documentation
Deploy and keep services running efficiently
What you’ll need
Experience operating distributed, high-volume backend services in production
Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python backend services
Experience with Kubernetes and GCP
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like PagerDuty, Grafana, Prometheus
Strong documentation and asynchronous communication skills
Comfortable using AI coding tools and scaling systems
