About the role
Core Specialty seeks a Vice President of Property Data Analytics to drive profitable growth and portfolio performance in its E&S Property business by partnering with underwriting leadership and delivering data-driven insights and analytics.
What you’ll do
Partner with Property underwriting leadership to deliver insights supporting underwriting strategy and portfolio management
Drive profitable growth and portfolio performance across the E&S Property business
Support business decisions through analytical models, business intelligence solutions, and data-driven insights
Lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
What you’ll need
10+ years of experience in analytics, catastrophe modeling, portfolio management, or related analytical roles in P&C insurance
Deep understanding of commercial property insurance, catastrophe risk, and portfolio analytics
Strong experience designing analytical data models and business intelligence solutions
Advanced SQL and experience with Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, R, or similar technologies
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related analytical field
