About the role

What you’ll do

• Partner with portfolio managers on portfolio construction and risk management
• Develop the fund's central trading and risk management infrastructure
• Apply strong quantitative and statistical skills to practical investment decisions
• Communicate sophisticated risk and quantitative concepts to portfolio managers and senior investment professionals
• Operate effectively in a fast-moving investment environment and identify important problems independently

What you’ll need

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in risk management, portfolio construction, trading, or investing
• Deep understanding of capital markets and portfolio risk
• Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, optimization, risk models, risk decomposition, position sizing, hedging, constraints, and market impact modeling
• Strong quantitative and statistical skills with proficiency in Python and SQL
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex risk concepts clearly
• Prior experience involving direct investment or trading decisions strongly preferred
