About the role
This role builds and operates production LLM agent swarms, including the agent runtime, review UI, approval controls, and evaluation systems. The engineer will work across backend, frontend, and distributed systems while addressing security and observability for autonomous agents.
What you’ll do
Architect and build a continuously running swarm of LLM-powered agents
Own the agent runtime
Implement secure human-in-the-loop controls
Build the UI for reviewing insights and agent actions
Run evaluation and production operations
What you’ll need
6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 1–2 years running LLM-based agents in production
Strong Python or TypeScript backend with API and distributed-systems fundamentals, plus frontend skills in React or comparable framework and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with agent frameworks and SDKs such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK, or Anthropic Agent SDK
Deep understanding of agent design patterns: planning, reflection, memory and context management, structured outputs, routing and handoffs
Proven ability to evaluate non-deterministic systems with promptfoo, DeepEval, or custom harnesses
Security mindset for autonomous systems: prompt-injection defenses, permission scoping, secrets handling, and audit logging
