About the role

What you’ll do

• Own the technical solution for GitHub Enterprise migration
• Conduct assessment, architecture, automation, sensitive-data discovery, migration execution, validation, and operational handoff
• Build repeatable, logged, reproducible automation with dry runs, exception handling, approvals, and rollback mechanisms
• Plan migration waves, validate technical outcomes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operational handoff

What you’ll need

• Hands-on GitHub Enterprise Cloud architecture, administration, and migration experience
• Deep knowledge of organizations, repositories, teams, permissions, outside collaborators, audit logs, enterprise policies, rulesets, webhooks, GitHub Apps, Actions, packages, and deploy keys
• Experience with SAML SSO, SCIM, Enterprise Managed Users, identity mapping, and enterprise policy configuration
• Proficiency with GitHub REST API, GraphQL API, GitHub CLI, Python and/or PowerShell, structured-data processing, and bulk administration
• Strong understanding of git history, branches, tags, Git LFS, archived repositories, mirrors, and repository transfer behavior
• Experience with secret and sensitive-data discovery tools such as GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub secret scanning, Gitleaks, TruffleHog, or detect-secrets
