About the role
Principal Product Manager leading SimplePractice's payments platform, owning strategy, execution, and vendor relationships for billing, processing, and payouts. Requires deep payments expertise and a track record of scaling fintech products.
What you’ll do
Own vision, strategy, and execution for the payments platform
Manage billing, processing, payouts, insurance payments, and embedded finance
Lead vendor management and PSP partnerships
Collaborate with regulatory teams
Develop product roadmap and monetization strategy
Mentor and guide the product organization
What you’ll need
10+ years of product management experience with hands-on ownership of payments or fintech products
Deep understanding of payments ecosystem (processors, networks, acquiring/issuing, settlement, payouts, disputes)
Experience running vendor RFP processes and managing PSP relationships with contract negotiation
Proven track record incubating and scaling new product lines from discovery to commercialization
Strong risk and compliance instincts balanced with product velocity
Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
