About the role
Senior Data Scientist / MLOps Engineer supporting the MT&E team, developing scalable analytical capabilities, automating data-driven workflows, and transitioning machine learning models into production for mission-critical objectives.
What you’ll do
Develop scalable analytical capabilities and automate data-driven workflows
Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models and analytical algorithms
Implement statistical analysis, data mining, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics
Develop feature engineering processes, data preprocessing workflows, and analytical pipelines
Integrate machine learning models and analytical prototypes into production environments
Lead analytical development efforts, provide technical guidance, and support multiple concurrent initiatives
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline plus 10 years of relevant experience, Master's plus 8 years, Doctorate plus 6 years, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree
Relevant experience in at least two areas: machine learning algorithms, data mining/advanced algorithms, advanced statistical analysis, AI development, or software engineering with data analysis tools
Proficiency with Python, R, SAS, or MATLAB
Experience evaluating and optimizing model performance with cross-validation, ROC curves, confusion matrices, and other standard metrics
Active TS Clearance with Customer Appropriate Polygraph required
United States Citizenship required
