About the role
Powerus seeks an IT Manager to lead hands-on IT operations across corporate, engineering, and manufacturing sites, managing infrastructure and enforcing CMMC/NIST security controls. Requires experience with OT, networking, and leadership in a defense-related environment.
What you’ll do
Manage IT operations across corporate, engineering, and manufacturing sites
Administer servers, endpoints, networks, and Google Workspace
Oversee operational technology and shop-floor systems
Implement technical controls for CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171
Manage relationships with outsourced MSP and IT vendors
Ensure IT/OT network segmentation and security
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS
5+ years IT operations with 2+ years in lead/manager role
Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments with OT and shop-floor systems
Hands-on administration of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, backup/recovery, and MDM
Knowledge of networking (VLAN, firewall, routing, VPN) and IT/OT segmentation
Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and ability to obtain Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required
