About the role
Cognizant is hiring a Data Governance & Analytics Consultant to drive enterprise data initiatives focusing on data quality, governance, analytics enablement, and business decision-making. The role partners with stakeholders to develop data strategies, governance standards, and analytics solutions for enterprise and dealer data assets.
What you’ll do
Develop data governance frameworks and standards
Gather business requirements and translate them into enterprise data solutions
Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation
Perform data quality analysis, reconciliation, and source-to-target mapping
Define and implement data governance frameworks and operating models
Support enterprise data transformation and master data management initiatives
What you’ll need
8+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, analytics, or related disciplines
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and enterprise data platforms
Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling concepts
Experience creating data dictionaries, metadata, and governance artifacts
Experience in dealer networks, manufacturing, or supply chain environments
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
