About the role
CGI is seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to design and deliver scalable AI-powered applications, lead AI feature development, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and deliver scalable AI-powered applications across backend services, data pipelines, LLM inference, frontend experiences, and cloud-native deployment
Lead AI feature development and customer use cases
Collaborate across product and technical teams
Mentor junior engineers
Deploy and manage containerized applications in production environments
Maintain delivery against sprint commitments while leading a small Agile/Scrum team
What you’ll need
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of full-stack development experience with Python backend and Angular frontend
2+ years building products with generative AI, NLP, conversational AI, OCR, or related AI technologies
Hands-on experience with NLP libraries, AI/ML frameworks, LLM inference, and production AI application development
Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native application architecture experience
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, and RAG/LLM-powered enterprise AI integrations
