About the role
Senior Healthcare Business Analyst role supporting Medi-Cal and CA-MMIS systems, performing business and policy analysis, and coordinating between DHCS and technical teams.
What you’ll do
Perform business/system analysis, requirements elicitation, and validation
Act as liaison between DHCS and technical teams
Conduct JAR sessions and policy/regulatory impact analysis
Create business process models and current/future state analysis
Analyze CA-MMIS OIL, requirements, and effort estimation
Support CPT, ICD, and HCPCS code maintenance
What you’ll need
Healthcare domain expertise in claims processing, provider enrollment, eligibility, RAIS, SURGE, and TAR
CA-MMIS OIL analysis, requirements, and effort estimation
Experience with HLR, DBR, business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria using IBM ELM and ServiceNow
Knowledge of CA-MMIS mainframe tables/files and policy updates
Business/system analysis, requirements elicitation, and validation
