About the role
Cognito Therapeutics seeks an engineer to build and operate a cloud data platform for device, clinical, research, and business data, including lakehouse architecture, analytics, BI, chatbot integration, and governance.
What you’ll do
Build and operate a trusted cloud data platform
Design data ingestion pipelines and lakehouse architecture
Enable analytics and BI tools
Integrate LLM-powered chatbot interfaces
Implement security, privacy, and governance controls
Manage data quality and orchestration
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems
5+ years building data platforms or data pipelines with cloud infrastructure experience
Experience designing data ingestion pipelines and schema standardization
Hands-on experience with data lakehouse architectures such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg
Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals including ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data quality
Experience with BI/analytics enablement and LLM chatbot integration
