About the role
ECS is seeking a Scrum Master and Agile Business Analyst to support the U.S. Postal Service Office of the Inspector General. This role facilitates Agile practices for an operations and maintenance applications team, translating stakeholder needs into user stories and maintaining a prioritized product backlog.
What you’ll do
Facilitate Agile practices for an operations and maintenance applications team
Translate stakeholder needs into user stories
Maintain a prioritized product backlog
Plan and solve problems with product management and delivery teams
Facilitate meetings at multiple levels of the organization
Support refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, and retrospection
What you’ll need
US Citizenship required
Certified Scrum Master
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of product/project development experience, or 3 years on an Agile Team, or 4 additional years in lieu of degree
Knowledge of an Agile framework such as Scrum or Kanban and traditional project management principles
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Agile facilitation software such as Jira and Confluence
